4th of July

Over the 4th of July weekend we went camping. Reece and Parker stayed in a tent, but I wasn't ready to try it again, so at dark, Macee and I went home to sleep in our own beds. We camped Friday evening and Sunday evening. Saturday night, we went over to Parowan to Reece's aunt Rita's house to watch fireworks, then on Sunday afternoon we went back out after church and the boys stayed the night. On Monday we went to the church and did the races. Parker wouldn't race, but Macee did a great job. Monday night we had a bbq at my mom's house with all of Reece's family. Then we all came back to our house and lit fireworks. It was such a fun weekend. The only way it could have been better is if Kenz and Randan would have been here with us. Parker and Reece had fun catching crawdads. Parker was pretty proud of himself because he caught one all by himself. The picture with the watermelon is Parker showing me the watermelon that grew in the creek. He was so funny. He came running up from the creek all excited telling me that there was a watermelon growing down there. We never told him different.

Tubing

We went up to the reservoir with Ben and Shannon the end of June. We had a lot of fun. It was the first time in about 5 years since I had been out tubing, skiing, and knee boarding. We had a blast. Parker even got out on the tube with Reece and didn't even cry. He loved it. He even wanted to go again. Macee was content to just hang out on the boat. It really made me want a boat. Maybe someday. Thanks a bunch Shannon, we had a good time. Wish we could've made it to Lake Powell with you guys.

6 years

Reece and I have been married for 6 years now on (June 26). Wow how time flies when you're having fun!! We have had a wonderful 6 years. We both finished our schooling, we've moved five times, we bought our first house, sold it and built a home, had a baby boy and then our baby girl was due on our anniversary last year but came a few days early so we could enjoy the day at our home instead of the hospital. Kenz was still here so we talked her into babysitting for us while we went down to the big city to relax. We went to dinner and a movie, the DI, and then went swimming. We've been married six years, but we've been together for eight. Thanks babe for making it an enjoyable eight years! I love you.

Macee One Year Pictures

My friend, Juanita, took Macee's one year pictures. They turned out so good; I couldn't be happier. To see them click here. Please leave a comment on her blog. If I get ten comments I get two extra pictures, and I'm having a hard time choosing which ones I want, so any extra would be great. Macee did so good even though it was around 100 degrees and almost bed time. Thanks so much Juanita.

Macee turned 1

Macee had a great first birthday. I can't believe my baby is one already. Time goes way to fast. We love her so much. We got this bubble machine for her for the party and the kids all loved it. It made some pretty cool bubbles. She loves playing with her cousins. She also loved her cake. She ate her whole cupcake, and then she wanted another one. Macee was lucky enough to have her aunt Kenzie here for the party. We were glad she could make it. Thanks everyone for making it a fun party and for the presents. We sure love you Macee.

Ox Valley Campin

We went up to Ox Valley campin with Orrin and Georgia in the middle of June. We had a lot of fun. Parker and Reece caught craw dads in the little creek, Meg and Trav came up to roast a hot dog and Macee enjoyed herself some licorice!! She loved it, however she didn't love sleeping in a tent for some reason. She has always done really well, but this trip she wasn't havin it. Good thing we were close, I brought her home each night around 4 am to sleep in her crib. After fighting her for a couple hours I told Reece I was done and we came home to sleep. The boys went fishing at New Castle and didn't catch anything and the girls went to St. George shopping. That was after Georgia had to take the keys out to New Castle because the boys forgot them at home. What we do for our men!! We had a fun weekend.
